Sign up on textify.africa. Your account comes with an API key and the full documentation, and that account is your competition entry. There is no separate registration form.

Send on the default sender name
Leave the sender name alone and send under Textify's default sender. It works from your first call, with nothing to wait for — and waiting is the point: registering your own name goes to the operators for review, takes three to five working days, and can be rejected. Use the default while you build so your innovation moves at full speed, and register your own name later, once the idea is proven.

The rules, briefly
What you should know before you start
You keep everything you build
Textify claims no ownership of your code, product or idea. We ask only to name your entry and show your demo when we announce the results.
Existing products are welcome
You do not have to start from scratch. Connecting a product you already run counts, and is judged on the integration.
Up to three entries
Each needs its own project and real API traffic. Three submissions describing the same integration count as one.
We verify the traffic
Scoring uses our own API logs, not your word for it. Traffic generated only to inflate message counts means disqualification.
Test with test data
Demonstrate with your own numbers or consenting participants. Never with a contact list you do not have permission to message.
Judges from outside Textify
The panel includes external developers and ecosystem figures, and we publish their names before judging begins.
